I run a QYT 8900 in the car and a QYT 8900-D with a TRAM 1480 dual band antenna as my base. I like both radios, but the 8900-D the knobs where able to fall off. I was having trouble with the volume so I tried a little super glue but that just made the knob turn hard. I tried to remove it but the knob broke, but in a good volume range.
